In absolute compliance with California Public Resources Code Section 42493, Mota Solutions LLC collects the mandatory Covered Battery-Embedded (CBE) Waste Recycling Fee on all applicable electronic products shipped to a California address.
This fee applies to all rechargeable personal health, intimacy tech, and sexual wellness products containing integrated lithium-ion batteries that are not designed to be easily removed by the consumer. The fee is calculated at a flat rate of 1.5% of the retail purchase price (up to a maximum fee of $15.00 per individual item) and is explicitly itemized on your receipt at checkout. All collected fees are strictly remitted to the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) in accordance with state environmental law.
